Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
Joshua and Christina met in January of 2019. They had matched online and began texting back and forth, discussing common interests like their mutual fondness of videogames. Joshua asked if the two of them could meet and Christina agreed. The very next day, they met at a restaurant for dinner and talked for so long that they were the last ones to leave. Neither of them noticed that the place was closing until Christina saw a server sweeping the floor. By the end of the month, Joshua and Christina became an official couple and continued to get to know each other. Overnight, they jumped into a tough situation when the world was struck by the COVID-19 pandemic. Although they had only been dating for about a month, they were able to support and encourage each other during difficult times. They met each other’s families and began to spend their dates at home watching movies or playing board games. Each day they fell more and more in love with each other. On June 19, 2021 Joshua took Christina to the place where they first held hands, the Getty Museum, and proposed. Without hesitation, Christina said yes!
