In his quest for a delicious pint of IPA, Vito, and his faithful companion Boogie dog, stumbled into RIIP Beer Company on a random Friday afternoon. The beertender, Hope, a tall glass of deliciousness herself, came around to take Vito's beer order, only to be immediately greeted by Boogie. Normally a shy and timid dog, Boog's tail was rapidly waggin' and jumped up to give Hope some kisses. It was as if he was alerting his dad that this was a special kind of person. Seeing this, Vito quickly jumped on the chance to strike up a conversation and take action! Since that fateful day, Hope and Vito have been inseparable, and with the addition of another pooch, baby Oslo, they are ready to make this pack official.
For months Vito had been secretly planning a camping trip in northern California to ask Hope to spend the rest of her life with him. Deep in the Henry Cowell State Park, Vito organized a day-hike to see some redwoods. So with Boogie and Oslo in tow, they set forth only to discover an incredible ring of giant redwoods that the park aptly named, The Cathedral of Giants. The stage could not have been more perfect for what was to come. Vito asked Hope to grab the dogs as he wanted to set up his camera for a family picture. He positioned the tripod, readied his "remote," and walked back over to Hope and the boys. He got in position, and to Hope's surprise, dropped to one knee asking her to spend eternity together. In typical Vito fashion, his camera was rolling the whole time, capturing the moment forever on video.
