A bit off the beaten path, but so worth the drive. This legendary spot serves up quintessential Santa Maria-style BBQ in a historic setting. Expect perfectly grilled steaks, smoky oak flavors, and that old-school Central Coast charm. If you’re a carnivore, this is a must.
Great steaks and drinks. Authentic Santa Maria BBQ
A local favorite serving up authentic Santa Maria BBQ without the long drive. Shaw’s is a bit more budget-friendly but still delivers big on flavor. Grab the Rib Eye Steak Sandwich—it’s tender, smoky, and borderline addictive.
Not just the official caterer of our wedding (yes, we’re biased), but also a charming artisan pizzeria and Italian bistro nestled in Old Town Orcutt. Bello Forno serves up wood-fired pizza, housemade pastas, and cozy vibes all around.
Holly’s Favorite! Tucked along the Central Coast, Avila is a sweet little beach town perfect for a day trip. Great for boogie boarding, relaxing in the sun, and strolling the boardwalk. You’ll find charming shops, delicious bites, and maybe even a sea otter sighting if you’re lucky.
Where it all started (well, second date—but who’s counting?). A seagull literally dropped a Pismo clam at Ryan’s feet on the pier—clearly a sign. Pismo has it all: wide beaches, great shops, breezy boardwalk strolls, and the famous Insta-worthy Pismo Beach sign. A perfect spot to relax, explore, or fall in love with the coast… again.
If the have the grill cooking on the Bradly Rd side of the restaurant, for sure grab a Tri Tip Sandwich or two. They are pretty amazing.
