We specially chose Barndiva for its rustic elegance - the perfect blend of gorgeously beat-up and patina'd elements that are in a romantic, upscale setting. SOOO, the attire for this wedding is, shall we say, "Wine Country Chic" ... which means cocktail attire with a softer "country" flair. You can go a little more bohemian, a little more "undone" than usual in Healdsburg. So while you're dressing to the 9's, throw in a little seersucker, or some funky suspenders, or a flowy maxi-dress. Note to gals: we'll be on gravel for part of the time, so a wedge or block heel will work great. Bring a light wrap, because even though Healdsburg can reach the 80's in Sept, it definitely cools down in the evening, and we're eating dinner outdoors.
We're not holding anything formal for our guests that evening -- it's a free for all! But please DO let us know where your plans take you, because Nick and Holly will be making the rounds all over Healdsburg to stop in on friends while dining or drinking. If you give us the heads-up as to your plans for Friday night, we'll do our very best to swing by for a hug & a hello that night!
Traffic up to Healdsburg on Saturdays is HORRENDOUS. What should be an hour & 40-min drive from San Francisco becomes a 3-hour drive if you don't leave by 10am. If you wait till 11am, it'll already be congested. Wait till noon, and you're lookin' at a looooonnnnggg drive. So get on up to Healdsburg early and enjoy the awesome town all day!
Nothing formal is planned, but just like on Friday, we'd love to know where you're brunching or hanging out so we can try to stop by and reminisce about our great night together!
As a gift to all our guests, we've arranged for everyone to have a complimentary wine tasting at the very cool Flight Deck tasting room right on Healdsburg Square ... about a block from Barndiva. Stop by on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, and tell them you're with the Seewer/Osborne wedding. You'll enjoy a flight of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel. Cheers!
Never. (ok that's not true.) We close down the party at midnight. If you want to keep the party going, we'll head to Dukes about a block away on Healdsburg Square. They shut down at 2am. Anything after that is ... well ... we'll cross that bridge if we get to it.
