Trevor and Holly met in February of 2021, not at a bar, through mutual friends, or while fighting to save the planet from an alien invasion, but through a mobile app. It was Trevor’s enticingly handsome smile, and pictures of him with Duke (the best Golden Boy) that drew Holly in. For Trevor, it was Holly’s genuine beauty, and sense of adventure that gave him no option but to swipe right. It was a match made in digital heaven. After numerous dates, and months together, it was a trip to San Francisco that was a big step into a new phase of this relationship. While walking through Golden State park, Trevor had decided that it was time to grow the family, by adopting a dog when they return home. Within a few weeks of returning home, Holly, Trevor, and Daisy, welcomed Barrett into the family. Holly, being the absolutely amazing lady that she is, supported Trevor through his journey to earn his Master’s Degree, which included many long weekends of homework, and re-scheduled date nights. With the completion of that milestone, it was time for Trevor to show his commitment to her, and how much he loves and appreciates her. A trip to New York City to see Holly’s brother Drew would be a weekend to remember. Holly’s favorite movie, Serendipity (2001, starring Kate Beckinsale & John Cusack) was inspiration for how the proposal would take place. With an incredible amount of support from Drew, and Holly’s parents, the plans were set. On Saturday, October 21st, the day started with a trip to Bloomingdale’s to do some Christmas shopping, then to the Serendipity 3 restaurant for lunch. Sitting near the place of multiple scenes from the movie, Holly was in pure joy when the Frozen Hot Chocolate arrived. Posing for a picture at the iconic table, Trevor proposed to Holly, asking her to make him the happiest guy in the world. She said Yes! They called the excitement off with a stroll through Central Park and calls to their families.
