For First Night, Boston always puts on a spectacular ice sculpture display at City Hall Plaza. This is something you definitely don't want to miss!
The Boston Common was established in 1634 and is the oldest city park in the United States. It was declared a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1987. Frog Pond is right in the heart of these beautiful historic commons- a perfect place for anyone who enjoys to ice skate!
Some of the best shopping in all of Boston! A great way to spend a day. A few of our favorite lunch spots include: - Stephanie's on Newbury - Eatly (Terra is especially nice!) - Sonsie (one of our first date spots!) - Sola's (Irish Pub) - Street Bar - Contessa (if you can get a reservation... they have a beautiful rooftop if you want to just stop in for a drink!) There are plenty of good options in the South End as well :)
There are plenty of beautiful museums in Boston- we've hit them all! The MFA is a great place, and right next door is another one of our favorites, The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. We've also done both the Aquarium & Museum of Science- they both are definitely fun for all ages!!
The Union Oyster House is the oldest, continuously operating restaurant in the United States. I would say it's one of the best places for a cup of clam chowder. This is a great spot to visit if you're visiting the Faneuil Hall area and looking for a cozy place to warm up with a beer & chowda!
