FAQs

Question

Are there any changes due to COVID?

Answer

We have made adjustments per requirements with local ordinance and vendors, and feel we will be able to provide a safe space to celebrate our marriage. There is a mask mandate while indoors, which we expect our guests to follow.

Question

What makes a Jewish wedding different?

Answer

While wedding ceremonies vary, common features of a Jewish wedding include a ketubah (marriage contract) which is signed by two witnesses, a chuppah (or huppah; wedding canopy), a ring owned by the groom that is given to the bride under the canopy, and the breaking of a glass. Don't forget to practice shouting "Mazal Tov!" and learn to dance the Hora!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than October 1st

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to arrive around 3:30- 3:45 pm

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Yes! If your invitation is addressed to you + a guest, we have accounted for two guests in your party. Please RSVP with your guest name and meal choice no later than October 1st.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the "travel" page for recommendations

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plentiful free parking on site at Antrim 1844

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire is encouraged. Jeans and denim will be considered out of dress code and frowned upon. Please see the "Schedule" tab for attire recommendations. White and similar colors, including ivory, off-white, and champagne are reserved for the bride.

Question

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes, we ask that you do not use phones, cameras, or electronics during our wedding ceremony so that you can be fully present with us. We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer who will capture plenty of photos which will be shared, so please respect their work. You are more than welcome to take photos and use your phone after the ceremony, during cocktail hour and at the reception.
