When do I need to RSVP by?

We kindly ask to RSVP by July 1, 2026. Go directly to our RSVP page found up top.

Where should we park ?

Answer

Parking is limited. We kindly ask you use the shuttle if you are staying at the UAW Black Lake. For those who prefer to drive or are staying somewhere else, park at the Ocequoc Outdoor Center! (Reception will be held here) Take a short trail over to the hills hideaway for the ceremony! If you are unable to take the trail, let us know and we can arrange something more comfortable for you.

Will there be a free shuttle?

Answer

Yes, we will have a complimentary shuttle for our guests staying at the UAW Black Lake Lodge to our Ceremony. And we will have 3 different shuttle times taking our guests back from the reception to the UAW Black Lake Lodge. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING THIS IF YOU ARE STAYING THERE!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will take place outdoors, so expect a bit of walking on grass. We recommend comfortable shoes (or bringing a pair to change into later!) 👟 August weather in northern Michigan is usually warm during the day and cooler in the evening, so plan accordingly! 🌤️ No need to dress super fancy - semi-casual is perfect - but we’d prefer no jeans, please 🤠 Don’t forget bug spray, and your sense of adventure!!

Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?

Yes. This is an outdoor event. We have a big tent the reception will be under!

Yes, kids welcome!

Will there be dancing?

Yes! We’ll have a live band and plenty of dancing. So bring your best moves!
