On a beautiful Austin fall day, we went for a long walk around Lady Bird Lake before sitting down for a lake side picnic. After pouring us a glass of wine, Neil got down on one knee to pop the question. I said Yes! with tears in my eyes and the beautiful Austin skyline in the background. Afterwards, we checked into the historic Driskill Hotel that Neil thoughtfully made us reservations at before heading to dinner at one of our favorite pizza places (of course!).

After graduating from two rival SEC schools in their home states, Ole Miss and LSU, Sarah and Neil both joined Deloitte in October 2015 in Houston, TX. They sat next to each other on the first day at training and quickly became close friends. A few months passed, Sarah tried to ignite their relationship romantically, only to be turned down (dun dun dun). Instead, they remained close friends until Sarah transferred to Austin, TX and Neil (finallyyy) realized they were meant to be together. They then spent a year constantly traveling between two cities before moving in together and settling in Austin with their two VIPs (very important puppies), Sundae and Gentry. They both cannot wait to celebrate the official kick off of their little family on December 5, 2020!
