Pinpointing the beginning of Our Story is a hard task, because we have known each other for such a long time. Taylor and I grew up together, but we were never very close until we rolled into high school. I came into high school a year after she did and that's when we really clicked together. We became best friends and were practically inseparable, but surprisingly never noticed how tight of a bond we actually had. After the whole town told us we were a match made in heaven, we figured there must be a reason. When our eyes were finally opened we definitely fell, what one would call, "madly" in love with each other. This went on for a couple of years, and everyone thought we would get married and that would be the end of it. But then disaster struck... I think what hurt the relationship the most was how young we fell in love. Now before anyone gets upset, this is due to the fact that we didn't know what kind of love we had until it was gone. We don't need to get into the details, all you all need to know is that our relationship sadly ended and we went our separate ways. This is where the story gets interesting, she went off to college and I enlisted into the Navy. I was stationed across the country in California, and we had a couple of years where we didn't have any kind of contact with each other. One day something came over me and I decided to see how she was doing, so I did. I sent her a "Hey how are you doing?," and the conversation never ended from there. A little over a year later I was on one knee, on the beautiful beaches of Oahu, with a gorgeous sunset as our background. Thankfully she said YES, and now we get the wonderful privilege of spending Our Happily Ever After together.
