We met while I was working at the gas station between our houses. Tyler and his brother would come in almost everyday. Now I knew his brother from high school but hadn’t met Tyler so other than a polite greeting, he never paid any more attention to me. One night, Tyler came in alone and I was determined to change that. After small talk about work and kidnapping because I wanted to go home, I followed Tyler out to his Jeep and more small talk/flirting ensued. I went back to inside and immediately looked him up on Facebook so I’d learn his name haha we became friends and agreed on a first date at Waffle House where we learned we were always closer than we knew as he’s been one of my brothers best friends since high school yet we’d never met !

We’d just spent a week at the beach with Tyler’s family. His favorite place to be. On our last day, we woke up before dawn to watch the sunrise over the ocean just the 2 of us . As I’m finding shapes in the cloud, I turned around and he was down on one knee. He asked “ Will you marry me?” I got teary and said “Yes” kisses were given as the sun came out and the rest is history We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
