In November of 2019, Shelby met Amanda, one of her bridesmaids. On that same night, one of the groomsmen, Blake, met up with Amanda and tried to invite his friend DJ to come hang out. By February, Blake and Amanda who were happily dating, kept telling DJ & Shelby individually that they might be a good match, but the pair still didn’t accomplish meeting each other just yet. Finally, DJ & Shelby met on March 7th, and through that night, Shelby found herself seeing that Amanda was on to something. After a few dates with DJ, Shelby called her mom on her way home to tell her that this man, who took her by complete surprise, might be the one she had been waiting for. Now, six years later, they will be getting married.
