Where we got engaged! And also where we go at least once a month to bike around the island (we highly recommend renting bikes if you can!) and for brunch / dinner! If you've never been, we recommend walking down the beach, shopping along the stores on Orange Avenue, and checking out the Hotel Del. For some tasty Mexican food, check out Clayton's and for "New York" style pizza, The Village Pizzeria.
A beautiful area to take a walk along the cove, check out the sea lions, and grab some seafood from a number of great restaurants. Our favorite restaurants are the Brockton Villa and Dukes. Mary Star of the Sea is also in the area in case you want to get to the area prior to our ceremony and if you have an extra day or two, we'd recommend kayaking out of La Jolla shores!
Jennie's neighborhood and our frequent date night spot! Little Italy is PACKED with the best Italian food you'll find in San Diego and is conveniently located next to the airport and downtown. To name a few of our favorite places: Barbusa, Nonna, Farmer's Table, and Frost Me Cafe and Bakery.
For those looking for the bar scene in San Diego, the Gaslamp District is it! Our favorite late night spots are Moonshine Flats, followed closely by Coin Op and Double Deuce.
We don't actually recommend you go here.
