Emily had only just moved to Milwaukee that morning, when her roommates had declared a girls night out. As the night progressed, Emily spotted Christian across the bar. Luckily, one of her loyal compadres was able to introduce them. They hit it off immediately, and everyone could see the sparks flying. A few months later they were found at a social gathering. When asked "are you two dating?", Emily replied "I don't know, ask him!!" and the rest is history.

Christian knew that it would be a challenge to surprise Emily, so he enlisted the help of a few friends. With everyone at their posts, he made sure Emily had her nails freshly painted and set the plan in motion. A confused Emily was dropped off at the Milwaukee Art Museum for an impromptu walk with Christian. It was there in front of a small group of friends hiding in the bushes, that Christian asked Emily to marry him. She happily said yes, and they popped some champagne to celebrate!
