Hunter and Jordan met through their mutual friend. They were in the same friend group, knew the same people, but just never met each other until Jordan's 18th Birthday Party at Etcetera Coffeehouse in Paducah. They met there but didn't start dating until exactly 13 months later at that mutual friend's lakehouse. There was singing, flirting, tubing, and minigolf. They instantly fell in love!

Hunter asked for Jordan's number with a very smooth: "Do you text?" And soon their first date was set up at Piper's Tea & Coffee! That night they watched a movie with their friends and held hands for the first time.

Hunter surprised Jordan at one of her shows. She was singing at Opry Mills Mall, and he climbed up on stage and got down on one knee! Of course, she said yes. After that, Hunter took Jordan to her favorite restaurant, Butcher & Bee, and then they drove back to Paducah and shared champagne in heart-shaped flutes.
