Autumn

Bridesmaid

Heather and I met our freshman year of high school at Ferndale in 2006. We became friends early on by both becoming cheerleaders. We became co-captains of the JV cheer team and used to have a competition of who would get their walk over first! Little did I know how just close we would get through competitions. We quickly became best friends all throughout high school. So much that even when I would get on punishment, I’d only be allowed to go over her house. After graduation we went to separate colleges but that didn’t change our friendship one bit. We visited each other so much people thought I went to her school and vice versa. Over the past 17 years, we became more than best friends more like family. We have been through so many phases of life together and even started a business together. Even after moving across the country from one another, we have remained best friends. I know we will be close for life!

I met Heather while working at Hooters years ago. We were both trainers and worked close together. As time went by we became friends. Our relationship grew close as we became able to confined in one another. I could talk to Heather about anything and received nothing but pure genuine advice. Actually, the side hustle I have to this day is from her; she trained me to bartend. Heather encourage me to travel and I haven’t stopped since. Our birthdays are a day a part & we celebrate yearly together! As years have passed we’ve always been there for one another. I’m truly happy for her next chapter in life as Mrs. Franklin

Heather is one of the sweetest souls I have ever met. I was about 12 years old when we met and we clicked instantly. We always had that big sis little sis relationship and till this day she has continued to always be there and look out for me. When I was up at school in Kalamazoo every time she visited her family she would stop through my dorm bring me food and just make sure I was on my stuff and gave me the best advice. She got me my first waitressing job and even introduced me to the corporate world by getting me into Entperise. Our bond is unbreakable. I am so honored and ecstatic to share and be apart of her special day!

Best Man

To my closest friend and brother, I can't believe it's been so many years since we were kids running around the backyard together, going to the southfield movies, dirt bikes, and countless birthday parties together. From the age of 1 to now 32. It truly feels like just yesterday we were playing video games in the basement. I ll never forget the late night video game reruns of playing James Bond on Nintendo 64. Forever will be a classic memory of mine. But now, here you are, getting married to the love of your life. I'm so happy for you, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for you both. I know you've found your soulmate in Heather. She's kind, funny, and beautiful, and I know she is the one because of how happy she makes you. I've never seen you look at anyone or treat anyone in the manner you do her. I'm so proud of the man you've become. You're caring, and always checking in just to make sure I am well mentally and spiritually. You're the greatest friend anyone could ask for. From diapers to grown men. I know you'll make Heather very happy. You'll be a wonderful husband. I wish you both all the love and happiness in the world.

Groomsman

Being 1st cousins, and having been born only 2 months apart, we grew up together like brothers. Our relationship has always been strong no matter the distance or time in between our interactions. It’s been amazing seeing him grow into the man he is today, and take this next step into manhood. He will always be the best cousin, and more importantly always be someone I can count on to be REAL.

Where can I start, Tim and I first met at Greater Grace Temple in the second grade and instantly we did not get along at all! Me being new, it was only bound to happen. Little did we know, we would be attending the same elementary and our little childish back and forth turned into 20 plus years of brotherhood! We’ve been broke together and ran through real pape together, seen the good and bad days. What’s understood don’t have to be explained! My brother in this life and beyond.

Groomsman

The little brother I never asked for but glad that I have. Tim and I met at Thompson Middle school back in 2004. Over the years we have built a brotherhood that is based off of Loyalty, friendship, respect and Trust. I would like to say I have taught Tim everything that he knows from the good to bad. Let me say I’m not proud of the bad. I’ve witnessed Tim grow from a boy to man over the last 20 years. I’m very proud of the man you are today and we both know it took quite some time. Never in a million years would have thought Tim would be the first one to get married but he found Heather and haven’t looked back ever since. Heather just know you are getting a man who is ready to commit to being whatever type of husband you are looking for and this man speaks very highly of you when you are not around. I love you my brother and wish you and Heather the best. Tim just know you are breaking up The Wood!

Groomsman

My relationship with Tim dates back to the early 2000's. We met at church when we were younger, and our mother's knew each other pretty well. Once we started hanging out we just clicked, he's like a brother to me.
