The Nikkah is the Islamic wedding ceremony where we officially say “I do” by signing the marriage contract in front of our family, friends, and witnesses. It’s a beautiful tradition that marks the start of our marriage, and we can’t wait to share this special moment with all of you!

We’d love for our guests to feel comfortable, festive, and ready to celebrate with us! Here’s what to expect for each event: 💛 Haldi / Mayoon A joyful pre-wedding tradition filled with turmeric, blessings, and laughter! Women: Yellow is the theme! You can choose from dresses, shalwar kameez, lehengas, or sarees in cheerful yellow shades. Men: Please wear yellow kurtas with white pants 👉 Expect things to get a little playful (and colorful!), so choose something you won’t mind getting turmeric on. 🥁 Dholki An evening of singing, drumming, and kicking off the celebrations with lots of energy! South Asian or Western casual party wear for both men and women 👉 Think fun, relaxed, and comfortable – perfect for dancing and enjoying the music! 🌸 Mehendi A lively night of music, dancing, and color! Join us in vibrant, festive outfits – think jewel tones, bright hues, and cheerful patterns. This event will be outdoors, so footwear suitable for grass is encouraged! South Asian wear: lehengas, saris, kurtas, sherwanis Western wear: dresses, jumpsuits, or dress shirts with slacks 👉 The key: colorful, fun, and comfortable enough to dance in! 💃🕺 🌿 Nikkah Ceremony & Reception Our wedding ceremony will take place outdoors. Ladies can wear either festive south asian wear (lehengas, sarees, shalwar) or semi formal western attire (knee/floor length dresses). For the men, we ask that you wear light color/navy suits. Light fabrics and footwear suitable for grass are encouraged. This sacred moment will be followed by our indoor reception.
