We have very carefully considered and brainstormed ways that this wedding can be a relaxing environment for our guests. Daniel and I are both in agreement that our guests children are just as important as the parents. Because we love our family & friend's children, we are not making our wedding "adults only". However, Daniel and I know how seldom many parents get a "night off", especially in the summertime. We highly encourage our guests to take a night out with your own love, to share in ours. But we believe that you should do whatever will help you enjoy the night to the fullest.
We have addressed invitations to those who are the guests that we would like to have at the wedding. However, we know there are several who would like to bring a plus one. We have tried to think ahead of those that may request a plus one and we have planned accordingly for that in our guest count. If you are unsure if that may be taken into account for you, please reach out to Daniel or Hannah. We would be glad to try to accommodate if we are able to.
We do not have a dress code, as Daniel and I are very causal people. If you wanna wear that new outfit and dress nice then you are more than welcome too. However, for those arriving from out of the area, you should be aware that South Carolina is very hot and VERY humid in the summer months. We highly recommend keeping a check on the weather closer to wedding date. We do have rain plans should that be a concern. The wedding will be in the afternoon but humidity is still a reality for this area.
We will not know what changes may be made on a state level regarding COVID by the wedding date. However, we will follow whatever rules the venue must follow per DHEC. Currently, there are no major restrictions. Daniel and I care about every single guest. We have invited guests that are elderly, immunocompromised or high risk, and others that are more susceptible to the virus. We ask that you are honoring and respectful of those in attendance. We highly encourage masks for those concerned and we ask that you socially distance from those not in your household. For anyone that is further concerned about this virus and the crowd, we do have the intentions of live-streaming the wedding.
