When should I RSVP by?

The RSVP deadline is May 24, 2024. Please contact us if you're having any issues with RSVPing!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal or dressy casual. For the ladies, light-colored, below-the-knee dresses or a dressy skirt and top styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats will be perfect. For the guys, a dress shirt with slacks and the optional tie will look great. Please keep in mind that our ceremony location is located outdoors in the middle of summer. If you need any outfit examples or inspirations, please contact us and we will be happy to help! P.S. This might be obvious, but friendly reminder to please not wear white. Thanks! :)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for your understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive before 1pm as that is the time that you will be promptly escorted to your seats. While our ceremony location will be private, Stan Hywett will still be open to the public and it may be easy to get lost.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Alcohol is prohibited by the venue so there will none provided or permitted at the wedding ceremony or reception.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love your kids and would love to celebrate with them. Please make sure to include them in your RSVP. If you have any concerns or ways we can make accommodations for your little ones, please reach out to us. Our reception will have a kids table with games, activities, and coloring books.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

If you are flying internationally, the recommended airpot would be the Cleveland Hopkins Airport (CLE), but it is about 40 minutes away from the ceremony location. If you are wanting something closer, you can fly into the Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) which is smaller, more limited in flights, but only 20 minutes away. If you want to fly into Dayton (3 hours south of the ceremony), we recommend the Dayton International Airport (DAY) or the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) which is larger but farther away.

Why won’t the links for the hotel blocks or registry work?

Answer

We have noticed that issue and have attempted to notify Zola. The links aren’t broken, just that sometimes our wedding website won’t allow external links to work. If you give it some time, it should work again or please email us if you want us to send you the links directly.

Can we take photos during the wedding?

Answer

During the ceremony, we will have a dedicated time frame for you to take photos of us yourselves. After that, we ask for you to put away your phones/cameras and just enjoy the ceremony while we let our professional photographers capture the memories. At the cocktail hour and reception, please feel free to take photos as we will be providing a way for you to share those memories with us!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Our registry is through Amazon. To find it, you can either click the link under the registry page here on our website. While it is not at all necessary, your generosity is very appreciated. Also, please enjoy the dumb and funny comments we (mostly Josie) included with each item lol

Who designed your invitations?

Answer

Grace (Josie's sister) digitally drew the illustration for the front and Naomi (Josie's maid of honor) did the calligraphy and design for the back.
