We're Getting Married!

Alix and Josh officially met at the Kingsbridge Heights Community Center. All of the neighborhood kids would walk home together and she always insisted on holding his hand. They didn't even really know each other but she didn't care. Before the night of their first date, Josh and Alix made it official. They went to see the movie "Hitch." Before he could even say hi, she kissed him! (they still laugh about it till this day.) Joshs eyes opened up super wide and Alix swore she ruined her chance. As we all know that wasn't the case!

The morning of their engagement, Josh and Alix planned to have breakfast at the Smith and go shopping. Josh suggested that they walk through Lincoln Center after breakfast. Although they've never been to the Ballet or the Opera, it's one of their favorite places in the city! As they walked, Josh told Alix to look at her phone. He texted her everything he was too nervous to say. As she was walking and reading, the text ended with "I just have one question to ask you..." When Alix looked up, right there in the middle of Lincoln Center, were all of the people they loved. Each person carrying a letter that spelled out "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" To say that Alix was SHOCKED is an understatement! She didn't see it coming. Josh was shaking as he bent down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes and everyone in Lincoln Center cheered. It was the most beautiful proposal you could ever imagine.
