Our story began in 2014, when a simple Facebook friend request turned into something so much more. After Jalen liked nearly all my photos, I couldn’t resist messaging him to ask, “Do you like what you see?” That playful moment became the start of a beautiful connection. Our first date was to the movies , and from that night on, we shared laughter, comfort, and an undeniable spark. Though life took us down separate paths for a while, God had a plan far greater than our own. In 2022, He brought us back together — stronger, wiser, and ready for forever. On January 1, 2023, Jalen asked me to be his girlfriend, marking the beginning of a new chapter. Exactly one year later, on January 1, 2024, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him — after first asking my parents for their blessing. It was one of the sweetest and most meaningful moments of my life. Today, we share our love and joy with our beautiful son, Jasiah, a daughter , Janelle , reminder that everything truly happens in its perfect time.
