Warning: Our story does not consist of meeting in the real world - but fate definitely played a part! One day in early July of 2019, I re-downloaded the Hinge app after almost giving up on it thinking that I would never find my person from online dating. I then decided that it couldn't hurt to have it again as I could easily miss out on my soulmate - and boy was I right! That night, Chris's profile magically appeared on my app (although he was much further from me than what I set my parameters to - which is where the fate came in.) I saw a picture of him and Gunner (his family's dog) and right away clicked "like" (because I thought, dang he's handsome!) and went to bed. To my surprise, I had a message waiting in my inbox from him saying, "Well, I guess it's time for me to grow my beard out again" as he was responding to my profile which said - "I'm weirdly attracted to men with beards." After a few weeks of nonstop texting (a lot of texting), we decided it was time to finally meet in person for our first date. We went to a restaurant called Founding Farmers in King of Prussia, PA and had an amazing time of laughing and non-stop conversation. We immediately felt this comfort with each other that we had never felt with anyone else and fell inlove pretty quickly - the rest is history!
