Yvonne & Luther

Yvonne and Luther met in 2019 at church in Lansing, MI while Luther was finishing his Masters at MSU. While their friendship grew, Luther's time in Michigan quickly came to an end. The day before he moved, he asked Yvonne to meet him at the MSU Horticultural Gardens. There, Luther expressed feelings for Yvonne and after prayer and reflection, the two decided to give their relationship a shot.

They have loved one another in many ways throughout four years of long distance; an era filled with career changes, long-anticipated visits, merging friends and family, and serendipitous reminders of God’s will for them. They describe their love as one of fun, compassion, and unending support.

On September 28, 2024, marking their 5th anniversary as a couple, Yvonne and Luther will commit to marriage on an intimate day with their closest loved ones. They are immensely grateful to share this special day with you, and look forward to their next chapter as husband and wife.
