Let’s take it back to 2012, when we both started working at PBR Rockbar. One night, Crissy was in the back rolling silverware and Rome was getting ready to start a security shift. As he was turning a corner he was stopped dead in his tracks and HAD to introduce himself with a smooth “Hi, my name is Rome” while his gorgeous hazel eyes glistened in the dim lights. Crissy thought wow, that guy is really cute! Well… if you know us, you know that’s about all we said to each other and then months flew by LOL. We continued to cross paths at work, and sometimes outside of work because of mutual friends. Then in December of 2012, at the epic PBR Christmas party, Rome made a move on Crissy. Again, if you know us, you know we were super awkward after and tried to avoid each other. That was until, we both got moved to the bar. Crissy was at daq bar and Rome was a bar-back. He always had to make sure her bar was fully stocked AT ALL TIMES. We started to talk more and flirt, of course Crissy was oblivious to the fact that this cute guy was showing actual interest in her. Then one magical night in April, Rome got the courage (liquid courage lol) to make a move on Crissy again. Of course Crissy called her BFF Jenna to tell her a couple hours later - to which she said “OMG it’s 421! This is a sign, maybe this guy is THE ONE!” If you know Jenna, you know about the significance of 421. Let’s just say, this was a BIG DEAL! After that, Rome made it very known he was interested, and we became inseparable. We have always done things on our terms, keeping everyone on their toes. After 7 LONG years of doing life together and bringing 2 beautiful kids into this world, Rome surprised Crissy by popping the question on July 11th 2020, during a family photo shoot. Finally the day had come where we were going to officially become husband and wife. Of course this being during the pandemic, we decided to elope on October 11th 2020. Remember, we like doing things our way. So here we are. A decade of love later and we finally get to celebrate our love, family and commitment to each other - on our very special 10 year anniversary!
