Allow me to set the scene: it's April of 2022 and Hannah was newly single and fighting off seasonal depression from a winter that wouldn't go away. Miresh was in his first year in New York and looking for someone to hang out with/annoy/cook elaborate meals for. They matched on Hinge and set up a date the following week. In the days leading up to the date, Miresh sent several messages trying to engage in small talk which Hannah barely entertained with short answers (who small talks before a date???). The night of the date, a downpour opened over Manhattan and Hannah was moments away from canceling when Miresh notified her that he was on his way to the bar she selected a few blocks from her apartment. She grabbed an umbrella and headed over. He stood outside in the rain under his umbrella waving. The rest is history or whateverrrr people say!
