We met at University of Delaware at a "Dadsgiving" bar crawl where we wore our best Dad outfits down Main Street. We clicked instantly and were friends for many years first before becoming anything more. We reconnected when Maura became a travel nurse and took her first contract in San Francisco, where Hannah was living at the time.

We were lucky enough to have two amazing proposals! Hannah kicked things off by proposing to Maura in Mexico while on a trip with friends. The friend group broke up to go on "date nights" with their partners and Hannah proposed to Maura on the beach at sunset while walking to dinner. Hannah's maid of honor, Audrey, was hiding and captured the moment beautifully! Both of us blacked out and don't remember a word that was said but the answer was clear. Maura one-upped Hannah by proposing in Florence at Basilica of San Miniato al Monte, an amazing church overlooking the city. We were running late for the photographer so Maura had Hannah second-guessing what kind of travel partner she was when she had us marching up the hill unable to stop and enjoy the sights. It was all worth it though when she got down on one knee with the most beautiful ring imaginable! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Auburn!
