Our story started on an app, our first date at a cocktail bar. A wildly unoriginal New York story. Baba was smitten and Hannah thought it was a great date. After a particularly phenomenal omakase dinner out in the Lower East Side, we knew we wanted to be together. Baba proposed October 11, 2024 in Central Park, Hannah's favorite place. It was our annual moms weekend and Baba had secretly arranged for our moms to hold "Will You Marry Me?" signs over a bridge in the park. The past 2+ years have been an absolute roller coaster. Blending our lives, families and friends in New York and across the country has been amazing. Battling health scares has made our bond even stronger and solidifies our vows to each other, through sickness and in health. We've found constant commonality from our Midwestern upbringings, to our balance of exercise and burgers, even while blending our Jewish and Nigerian backgrounds. Most importantly, Hannah found someone who arrives even later than her to the airport, and Baba a partner who is always ready for the next trip. We're so excited to continue this beautiful, blended life and excited to celebrate with everyone!
