Matron of Honor
Mary and I were fast friends early in high school, and our friendship only grew sweeter in the many years since. Even when we parted ways to different universities and then began working in different states, we always kept in close touch and visited each other (it helps that we both have a bug for travel!). Mary is one of the most loyal and genuine friends I've ever had, and I'm so thankful to have her by my side on my wedding day!
Matron of Honor
Maeve and I were first brought together thanks to our parents plopping us down next to each other in the bleachers to watch our brothers' countless sporting events more than twenty years ago. Since then, friendship turned into family. From countless childhood playdates to high school bowling teammates (wild, we know) to a college graduation trip through Europe, Maeve has been a lifetime adventure pal, so of course I needed to ask her stand by me at the start of my greatest adventure yet!
Best Man
Liz and I were struggling during our first reverse fours volleyball tournament (you sign up as a pair, and then get placed with other pairs throughout the day to make teams of four). During the playoff round, Grant and Kristi took pity on us and selected us as their partners. Similarly to how I found Liz to be such a great partner, we found Grant and Kristi were great both on and off the volleyball court and that was the start of our friendship. Since then Grant and I have shared many a volleyball game, travels, and Fireball, and I'm happy he'll be with me on my big day!
Best Man
Phil was one of the first people I met during college. We shared the same building as freshmen and then became college roommates for the next three formative years. We went our separate ways (he to pursue a PHD, me to move to Madison where Liz would become smitten with me), but we still always kept in touch. Now, ten years out of college, we found ourselves in the same city again in Seattle! I'm glad to have someone who's known me for so long stand by me for my big day!
