Hotel
Our original room block was filled but they were able to create a new block for us at a preferred rate. This rate is slightly higher now due to the influx in travel they are seeing to the Outer Banks. The block is only being held until August 15th so we recommend booking before then. You can either call the hotel and mention the Gray/Cohn wedding, or click the link below and it will take you to book at the reserved room block/rate. If you have any additional issues, please reach out to the bride, groom, or their parents.
Hotel
Being roughly 7 minutes away, this is the closest hotel to the Sanderling if are you are looking to stay somewhere off the resort. The hotel does not block rooms off so it is first come, first serve. However, if you mention the Gray/Cohn wedding they will take 15% off your stay.
House Or Rental
Your typical house rental companies in the area will only book for entire weeks at a time, but there are short term stay options to rent through Airbnb and Vrbo.
Flight
Norfolk, VA (ORF) is the closest airport to the Outer Banks. It is about 90 minutes north. You will need to drive from the airport to Duck.
Rental Car
When we come to Duck for long weekends, we typically rent a car instead of taking a shuttle. Any rental company will do, but we find enterprise has the best fleet and best prices. If you want some authentic NC BBQ, make sure to stop at Southland on the way (yes, it is a gas station, don’t judge).
