Ben and Grace's stories became intertwined for the first time in 2016. As young consultants, who had finally tasted a bit of the world and were hungry for more, the opportunity to travel abroad and live in Tokyo for work was too enticing to pass up. That similar passion for travel and fearless pursuit of excitement would be the foundation of their relationship. First introduced to each other through work, a combination of a new world to explore and compatible personalities quickly escalated acquaintanceship to friendship. For a year, as friends they worked and lived side by side, taking in as much as Japan could offer. Friendship bloomed into something more, and it wasn't long before the chemistry was recognized for what it was, true love. One of the first milestones came in 2018, when it was time for Grace to leave Japan, but Ben was obliged to stay. Such a distance couldn't keep them apart, and soon Ben was off to London to visit Grace in the next exciting location. Since then, the couple have traveled the world together and separately, but always made sure to share life and love.

The next milestone was 2020, when they set foot ashore in Antarctica on their 7th continent together. After a morning of whales, penguins, and seals, the two of them crested a hill. That hill was the perfect symbol of their life and travels together. So, it was there that Ben got down in the snow on one knee, and asked Grace to honor him by becoming his wife. Grace, without hesitation, accepted. Since their engagement on that snowy hill top, the couple has bought a home in LA and added a furry companion to their life (who will be at the wedding!). Life over the past few years has been a wonderful chapter of growth and learning together, and now they are approaching the next milestone, their wedding! When they do, they want to share their love and appreciation with those special people who have touched their hearts along the way at the Brazilian Room (where Ben’s parents celebrated their wedding 40 years ago!).
