What is the attire for the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding is Black tie! We love to dress our best and we hope you do too! If you're looking to rent, theblacktux.com or generationtux.com are great options for the men, as are dark, more formal suits, and rent the runway is always a fantastic place to get a great gown!
Question
What time should we arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony room will open at 5:00pm, so please arrive at the Du Barry Ballroom by 5:00pm to start mingling and grab a seat!
Question
Can I take pictures of your wedding and/or post them?
Answer
Yes! We will have our wonderful photographers, Ashley and Tyler Errington taking photos throughout the day, but we kindly ask you to turn off your ringers and put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony portion of the evening. We want you to relax and enjoy the moment with us rather than focus on taking photos, we've got that covered!

Are pets allowed at the hotel?
Answer
Yes! The Hotel Du Pont is pet friendly, so don’t worry about a furry friend sitter, and bring them along! There is an additional fee on the room rate and a few extra rules to abide by, but we’d love to meet all of our four legged guests as well!

Who's going to check on our pets?!
Answer
While we would all love to have our pets partying it up with us at the reception, I'm sure they'd rather catch some Z's! We have decided to hire a dog walker for the night of the reception that will come check on Calie and let her out for a little walk halfway through the evening. Rover.com has great options to search for verifiable and highly reviewed dog walkers! You just put in the hotel's address, your dog's breed and size, and what service you are interested in. Most of the dog walks are $20 or under, or you can just opt for a pet check in to make sure your pet is doing okay! Our suggestion would be to just leave a spare room key with the front desk along with a note of the dog walker's arrival time and name, and to store all valuables in the hotel provided safe :)
