Hiking
Best thing to do in Boulder! Here are some of our favorite hikes, which can be found on the AllTrails app: Chautauqua Trail to Bluebell-Baird Loop (Easy): Beautiful views of the Flatirons, Boulder's famous scenic rock formations. Our corgi can easily do this one. Chautauqua Trail to 1st and 2nd Flatirons Loop (Moderate-Hard): Get up close and personal to the Flatirons with this famous hike. Royal Arch Trail (Moderate): Check out where Anthony proposed to Grace on this beautiful hike. Mesa Trail (Moderate): A longer, traversing hike right in Grace's family's backyard, which can branch off into Bear Mountain or NCAR. Mount Sanitas Peak Trail (Moderate-Hard): A real booty-buster, but well worth the views at the top. The hike is a big loop. Start left on the trailhead for a more challenging hike, or start right at the trailhead for an easier hike. The choice is yours!

Here are some of our favorite places to eat in Boulder: Flagstaff House Restaurant: A special-occasion restaurant with breathtaking views built atop an award-winning cellar (1138 Flagstaff Rd) Pizzeria Locale: Artisanal wood-fired pies (1730 Pearl St) Zoe Ma Ma: Grace's favorite quick-bite place serving Chinese street food located downtown (2010 10th St.) Dushanbe Teahouse: A Boulder landmark! Enjoy tea or Chai along with unique food (1770 13th St. ) Frasca Food and Wine: Colorado's top and nationally-acclaimed restaurant serving Northern Italian cuisine and tasting menus (1738 Pearl St) Japango: Best Sushi restaurant in Boulder (1136 Pearl St.) The Dark Horse: A very quirky Boulder bar and restaurant featuring wings, burgers, beers and drunk tricycle races, decorated like a western antique shop (2922 Baseline Rd) Pasta Jay's: Family-style Italian (1001 Pearl St.) We could go on and on! Just walk along Pearl Street to discover so many good places!

Here are some fun local breweries to visit: Avery Brewing Company: Located 15 minutes outside of downtown Boulder. Large, beautiful building with outdoor and patio space (4910 Nautilus Ct N) The Post Brewing Co: Located downtown along Pearl street. Full restaurant with southern comfort food (2027 13th St.) Mountain Sun: A local favorite with Boulder craft beer. Located downtown along Pearl Street (1535 Pearl St.) Oskar Blues Boulder Taproom: Brewery and taproom serving pub staples located downtown along Pearl Street (921 Pearl St.) Uhls' Brewing Co: Local brewery believed to have been started by a distant family relative located just outside downtown Boulder (5460 Conestoga Ct)
Drinks
Our recommendations for drinks/cocktails: Upstairs Cocktail Lounge: Our favorite place to grab cocktails in Boulder. Secluded up a somewhat hidden staircase between popular restaurants on the main walking area of Pearl Street (1039 Pearl St, Suite B) Jungle: Fun, tiki-themed bar serving creative drinks in parrot or tiki glasses. Located on the west end of Pearl street hidden behind restaurants (2018 10th St. ) The Bitter Bar: Known for seasonal cocktails and hosting the longest happy hour in Boulder from 5-8pm. Located very close to downtown Pearl Street (835 Walnut St.) License No. 1: Prohibition-style speakeasy underneath the Hotel Boulderado (2115 13th St.) Sundown Saloon (aka the "Downer"): A quintessential grungy basement dive bar, where Grace had many drunken night in college (1136 Pearl St) Or just walk along Pearl street and see where the night takes you! There are so many fun bars and restaurants just along the main pedestrian walkway.
