His Story: My first encounter with Jackie was at church on a Friday evening during a board game night. We were paired as teammates for a game of Codenames, and that’s where our story began. Soon after, I had the chance to see her more during study sessions at the library. What started as group study hangouts slowly turned into just the two of us, and with every conversation,I found myself drawn closer to her. Over time, my feelings grew undeniable. One evening, in the quiet of the school parking lot, I finally asked her out—and the rest is history. Her Story: I met Josh when we were playing Codenames at a church fellowship back when I was a freshman in college. He and I were assigned as a team, and my initial thought was, “Darn, I have no idea who this person is! We’re going to lose the game!” Surprisingly, we worked so well together! Later that night, Josh asked for my number. Soon after, we were texting all day and all night. I almost didn’t make it into pharmacy school because I was so distracted hanging out with this boy I had just met. Ever since, Josh has been by my side through so many stages of my life—from pharmacy school, to residency in Chicago, and now this new chapter here in Baltimore.
