Question

Do we have to pay for our accommodations?

Answer

Nope! We are delighted to be able to provide accommodations for all of our guests from 9/28-10/4/2024. In order to do so, we will need many of our guests to share rooms. If you are uncomfortable doing so, we will be happy to recommend nearby accommodations for you to book with.

What is the dress code? What is garden party chic?

Answer

Semi-formal dress. Suits and suit separates are appropriate. Linen suits are also appropriate. Ties/bow ties are optional. Cocktail dresses, silk fabrics, comfortable shoes are all encouraged (avoid stilettos, there will be grass). Please kindly avoid wearing white.

Are you paying for airfare?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot pay for everyone’s airfare. We understand that this is a significant expense and ask that our traveling guests do not purchase gifts from our registry; your presence at our wedding is the best gift of all.

What is the weather like?

Answer

Tuscany averages in the 70’s-80 during the day in September/early October. The evenings are usually in the 50’s-60’s. There is no modern heating system in the palazzo. If you find those temperatures chilly, please pack accordingly. There will be ample linens and blankets.

What else should I pack for?

Answer

We are planning a cooking class at the villa, day excursions into Florence and Rome, winery tours, etc. Please pack comfortable shoes. There is also a pool at the villa- bring a swim suit!
