Jason & Alexa

BouquetBouquet

Wedding Party

Meet our family & friends who are walking down the aisle with us, in their own words!

MaiQuel Vasquez

Maid of Honor

“It feels like I’ve known Alexa my whole life— we really do just have that special kind of romance people dream about. Our love story is unmatchable. From ugly hair cuts and matching outfits to sweet 16ths and fake surprise golden 18ths. From childhood soccer weekends to buying me alcohol in high school. From convincing me that i’m adopted to asking me to be your maid of honor. In summary, we really make a fire scheme team. This by far has to be your best scheme yet, as long as Jason doesn’t know what he fully signed up for until after “the kiss,” we really could get away with this. But truly, I couldn’t be more excited to share the most special day of your life with two people who mean the absolute most to me; I’m honored that I get to be by your side every step of the way.”

Zack Gerin

Best Man

“I met Jason in the 80s during my mullet days. My mom just had him, and said we could keep him. We quickly became housemates and shared many years playing and fighting together. He’s always been my best friend and he’s the nicest guy I know (and I know Alex Chow). When I met Alexa, I knew she would be the perfect new housemate for Jason!”

Gabriella Montanez

Bridesmaid

“Yo yo yo - what up party people! I met Alexa in 1995 - wild story, I was born and we have the same dad so I guess it was just… fate. I’m so excited for Jason and Alexa to get married, I love love! Please do not look at me during the ceremony, I will be crying.. so embarassing. But, please definitely find me on the dance floor during the reception. Your girl loves to dance and I do a mean Macarena.”

Eric Weiss

Groomsman

“I met Jason when I was a year old. I think we were at our older brothers soccer practice. I noticed the way he kinda just chilled in his stroller and I thought man, this is one cool cat. We’ve been friends for over 30 years which is something I cant say about anyone else.”

Alysha Albert

Bridesmaid

“Where to start. I met Alexa I don't even know August of 92 sisters since as long as weve known, from the Daniel & Lexa dream team VS lysha & Gabi squad. Ya know good ol sibling rivalry 😄 Look at us now all grown up and getting married. I couldn't be more excited to stand by your side as you marry your best friend. I love you guys so much!! Let's party yall!!!”

Ben Wright

Groomsman

“I’ve known Jason since he was 4 years old and he was saying please, thank you, and sorry at an impressive rate. Not a nicer guy than J, and I have looked at him as a brother ever since. #lostboysforlife”

Monique Montanez

Bridesmaid

“I was dating Alexa’s brother so of course he introduced me to his sisters. I first met Alexa on a holiday, but I'm not entirely sure which one. Lol. We met, and we clicked right away (no shocker there 🤜🏼🤛🏼)! Now here we are lots of holidays and several Dodger games later and I get to be apart of Alexa's wedding day as her sister (in law) and as a bridesmaid.”

Alex Chow

Groomsman

“I first meet Jay on the basketball court in the 4th grade. His game was average at best, but he had a mean cherry picking game. I figured any kid that was sweatier than me was cool enough to call a friend. Through this friendship Jay has taught me about the great Mel Brooks and to never be a nuggets fan. Hashtaglakeshow”

Rachel Gerin

Bridesmaid

“I met my brother Jason when my parents, brother Zack, and I were on a trip to Texas in the late 80s.  We befriended a cute little brown haired boy with the sweetest smile and kindest, largest heart.  Over the years we became close and developed a friendship with so many things in common – our love of the Dodgers & Broncos, The Office and Friends, and our ability to speak at a high decibel (which is a trait held by most Gerins).  Jason would then meet his future bride, Alexa, who, as luck would have it, loved Wheel of Fortune, the game show I work at!  It was a match made in heaven.  I’m looking forward to celebrating the beautiful couple in 2022! Now that I think about it, I’ve never been to Texas….. It is your wedding.”

Josh Schaechter

Groomsman

“jason and my rock solid friendship started when we realized that our moms love us so much that they convinced the school systems that we had “learning disabilities” so we got to learn a lot together in a very personal focused but stress free setting. They called it resource, but it was basically a place for chow jason and I to become really smart together. Pretty sure that’s how we got here.”

Allison Gerin

Bridesmaid

“I am the lucky sister-in-law of Jason. I've known the Jay Man since he was in high school. He has been the most supportive, sweet and fun brother-in-law and uncle to my kids! When I kept hearing Jason talking about this Alexa girl, I knew I needed to meet her. Unfortunately for her, she got to meet the whole Gerin crew at once. Alexa survived the initial family gathering at Brent's Deli with grace and charm and I knew we were going to be seeing a lot more of her...(granted that we secretly didn't scare her off!). I am so excited to gain another sister-in-law and celebrate your marriage.”

Anthony Pondella

Groomsman

“Our kindergarten soccer team was when I first met Jason and his dad Coach Barry. I was by far the best player on that team. It was fun watching Jason try to keep up. Later on in our 20’s we became roommates at the Knolls apartments. I have never seen so much food spilt on the ground on a weekly basis. No, I am not talking about myself. Being roommates really strengthened our friendship though. Then Alexa came into Jason’s life and now I only see them when Dodger needs a babysitter 😂 Joking. I am truly happy Jason and Alexa found each other and wish them nothing but the best! Cheers!🍻”

Josh Snyder

Usher

Normally I would come up with a funny story to tell about how I know Jason, because whenever we’re together it’s all jokes and nothing else. But, Jason and I are cousins and to have Jason as a cousin is an honer because I don’t know of a more loyal, honest and genuine person. I’m proud to call Jason my cousin.

Alec Snyder

Usher

I've always been Jason's favorite cousin since he was born. Every time we get together for family gatherings or vacations, we have a blast planning out new fantasy football schemes (or perhaps just lamenting the broncos latest defeat), sharing a drink about the latest family news (and gossip), and trading suggestions on the next show to binge. The fact of the matter is Jason is the friendliest, most kind-hearted person I know and this underlines the fact that no matter how many times I destroy Jason at ping pong, they have remained, and will continue to be the closest of friends and the best-est of cousins.
