Where is the wedding?

Answer

We are getting married on our newly purchased property in the historic Indian Village neighborhood on the east side of Detroit. After the wedding, we will begin to build our future home. Come and join us celebrate a new chapter in our lives!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to join our celebration! However, please keep in mind that our wedding venue is an open corner lot in our future neighborhood, which may not be the most child-friendly environment. We kindly ask parents to use their discretion and consider what will be most comfortable and enjoyable for their family.

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

Free street parking in available in the neighborhood. Parking spots next to the property is limited, so plan accordingly as there you may need to walk a short distance.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Sorry, there are no shuttles offered for the event. Uber and Lyft are readily available in the city. Please carpool if you are local! As always, be safe, and do not drink and drive.

Is Detroit safe?

Answer

Yes! Please put all stereotypes/reputations aside. Detroit is safe and thriving! It is a major city and comes with all the regular big city pros and cons, but do not hold back from exploring all that the city has to offer!
