We love going to the Northshire Bookstore when we are in town. They have a cute cafe with yummy food and multiple floors filled with books from every genre.
Stratton Mountain Village
Katie worked at Stratton Mountain for a ski season before moving to Minneapolis. The mountain has a cute little village at the base and there are shops and restaurants galore. The drive up the mountain is a pretty one. Since we're heading into "stick season" we recommend calling restaurants ahead of time to make sure they're open for lunch/dinner.
Hapgood Pond
Hapgood Pond is right down the road from Katie's parents house in Peru, Vermont (about a 15 minute drive up the mountain from Manchester and The Equinox). They have a great 2 mile hike around the pond and through the campground there. Happy Exploring!
