Michelle and Eliana grew up together in Milwaukee, Wisconsin since they were born. They were also college roommates and studied abroad together in Spain for a year. The majority of their life experiences growing up were shared together. Their families are many times considered one big family. Michelle was also there when Eliana and Joses met!

Paul and Joses were both born in Kenya and grew up together in Berrien Springs, Michigan since they were both young. Similarly, their families grew up together and are truly considered one big family. Paul has been a true constant for Joses and Eliana since before they even began dating and has continued to be a support and blessing to their relationship.
Stefany Recinos

Stefany and Eliana met their freshman year of college and instantly became close. Although Stefany moved back to Texas after graduating college, her and Eliana have only grown closer and have become family. Stefany has been a true blessing in more ways than could ever be expressed. Her love and support for Eliana and Joses' relationship is unmatched. She is also the one that introduced Joses and Eliana 6 years ago!

DJ and Joses met their freshman year in college and became great friends in undergrad. They became even closer throughout PT school. DJ and his wife Gabi have become like family to Joses and Eliana and they are truly grateful for their friendship over the years.

Angie and Eliana met and quickly became close in graduate school. She also came to know Joses as his barber. Angie has been a blessing to Joses and Eliana in many ways and continues to pour out her love and support for their relationship.

Greg and Joses met when Joses took one of Greg's mentorship courses. Over the past couple years, Greg has not only been a mentor, but has become more like a brother to Joses. Joses and Eliana are so fortunate for the example of marriage that Greg and his wife have shown to them. They look up to their marriage and have gained so much through the ministry that their marriage embodies.

Joy is Joses' little sister and has been a strong support for Joses and Eliana's relationship. Eliana is very excited that Joy will be standing by her side and even more thrilled to be gaining a sister.
Stephen Kabah

Kabah and Joses were both born in Kenya. Kabah spent time living with Joses' family in Berrien Springs, Michigan when he was studying at Andrews University. Kabah has been like a big brother to Joses over the years and he and his wife have been a huge source of support for Joses and Eliana's relationship.
Sarah Boritzke

Sarah and Eliana went to middle school and high school together in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. They were acquainted in middle school when both were on the track team, but quickly became close their last two years of high school. Although Sarah remained in Wisconsin for college, her and Eliana remained in contact and have continued their friendship over the years. Sarah's positivity and love for everyone around her is evident in every interaction.
Chris Ngunyi

Chris is Joses' cousin from Nairobi, Kenya. Chris came to visit Joses and Eliana in Florida this past year and was able to spend a few days with them. Joses and Eliana are very excited to have family from Kenya that are able to take part in the big day!
Anna Timm

Anna and Eliana met and became close while surviving graduate school together. Eliana could not have survived graduate school without Anna's friendship and support. They both got engaged during their internship year and were able to plan and will take part in each others weddings.

Casey and Joses met in college at Andrews University. Joses and Casey have grown close as good friends and business partners of the Pre-PT Grind LLC as they serve Pre-Physical Therapy students nationwide.
Gabi Haskins

Gabi and Joses were friends in undergrad and became even closer through PT school. Eliana and Joses spent more and more time with Gabi and DJ over the years and have come to consider them not only great friends, but family. Their love and friendship has meant so much to Eliana and Joses over the years.

Chris is Joses' little brother. Although extremely shy when Eliana first met him 6 years ago, Chris has shared his memories and excitement for Joses and Eliana's relationship over the years. Joses is proud to share this day with him!
