To forever & always

Believe it or not we met in the 5th grade, and in high school we became best friends. We had most of our classes together and played in the band… Truthfully, we never dated in high school, but everyone knew that we wanted to be more than friends. However, the time was not right, we graduated, and went our separate ways. In 2019 Matthew texted me one Friday night. I was hesitant at first to answer back, so all I texted back was “hi.” And those two letters changed my life for the better. We then proceeded to talk for 6 hours that night, and eventually scheduled our first outing to the pumpkin patch with my mom. From there our relationship just blossomed! Now, don't get me wrong, it hasn't been all nice and easy, but relationships weren't meant to be. With the guidance and love from our families, for each other, and from God, we have made it to this next chapter. God knows when the timing is right, and even though it may have been hard back in high school- I am thankful God was in control. We look forward to celebrating and sharing this part of our story with you!
