It’s happening!

We’ve known each other since elementary school, but at one point we were in different grades so we lost touch throughout middle school. We reconnected in high school, during my sophomore year and Brandon’s freshman year. I was into all the relationship stuff, but he really wasn’t. Then once again, we lost touch and went our own ways. However, we reconnected once more when I started working at Walmart, but it wasn’t until later on that we started talking again. Then one day, on June 23rd, 2022, we had our first date, and today I’m sure you can tell how well that went. 2 days later, Brandon finally worked up the courage to ask me to be his girlfriend. Of course, I said yes. ❤️

It was our one year anniversary. We both had to work, and different shifts, so I asked to leave when Brandon did so we could spend the evening together. Thankfully they said yes, and they knew what he had planned… However, I did not. We went home and got ready for a date night: Texas Roadhouse and an evening in Ashland. After we had our dinner, Brandon asks, “Since we’re dressed up, why don’t we go to the park and take pictures?” Of course, I said yes. I’m a picture person. Although, something was off. We dress nice quite a bit when we go out to eat or have date nights, but it didn’t really click to me yet. We drove to the park and got out of the car. We walked over to a little bridge by the pond with the fountain, and Brandon took some pictures of me and I took some of him. I told him to never post the pictures he took of me, cause I look absolutely terrible in them 😂. He starts being sweet, kissing me, and talking about everything we’ve been through over the past year of our relationship and how he wouldn’t have wanted to go through it with anyone else. Then he says “So, I have a question to ask you…” and pulls out the ring and asks me to marry him. I’m in shock, and of course I say yes! We call our parents and tell them the exciting news, but they were already in on Brandon’s little scheme. We’re so excited to begin this next chapter of our lives, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone! We hope you’ll join us on our big day. ❤️
