Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK)

There are daily flights between Saranac Lake and Boston's Logan International Airport that makes flying directly to Saranac Lake easy although sometimes more expensive. The airport is about 15-minutes (7 miles) from downtown Saranac Lake with rental cars available through Hertz. Fun fact - this is an 8-person puddle jumper airplane and one person can fly as co-pilot!

Plattsburgh International Airport (PBG)

Flying into and out of Plattsburgh will be your second closest option for getting to Saranac Lake. This airport is about 1 hour and 10 minutes (50 miles) from Saranac Lake. Flights out of Plattsburgh fly directly to Washington DC- Dulles; Ft Lauderdale, FL; and Orlando, FL. Rental cars are available through Avis/Budget and Hertz.

Burlington International Airport (BTV)

Burlington International Airport is about 2 hours and 5 minutes (80 miles) away from downtown Saranac Lake. This can be a fun option as you can take the ferry across Lake Champlain! Rental cars are available from Alamo, Avis, Enterprise, Budget, National, Hertz, and Advantage.

Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL)

Flying into Montreal is about 2 hours and 10 minutes (110 miles) from downtown Saranac Lake. This can be a fun option if you have never been to Montreal and would like to experience it for a day or two before or after our wedding.

Albany International Airport is about 2.5 hours (140 miles) from downtown Saranac Lake but sometimes has more affordable options than the closer airports. Rental cars are available from Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National/Alamo, and Dollar Rent A Car.
