Sean and Farah first met in September 2014 when they were both college students and invited to the Keck School of Medicine's first interview of the year. They don't remember talking much to each other at the time but both are fairly confident the other was there. Nine years later, after four years of medical school (neither at Keck) and four years of residency, they met again on a Bumble date in New York. Their first date was ice cream and a trip to Roosevelt Island, where they admired the (closed) smallpox hospital and Four Freedoms Memorial. The second date was a ferry ride to Brooklyn and Farah gradually introduced Sean to all the New York City restaurants he'd been missing out on in favor of pizza and Dunkin Donuts. In return, Sean introduced Farah to cycling and she learned that a peloton wasn't just the name of a stationary bike. Farah must have really liked cycling (or Sean) because she bought her first bike two months after meeting Sean and the second five months after that. Since then the two have cycled together, traveled together from Ireland to Peru, and eaten as much cheesecake and soda bread as Sean can make. They are both incredibly excited to celebrate their wedding with all of you!
