"One of thee most memorable moments I have of Isaac would have to be when we weren’t even friends yet. Sophomore year, I stood outside the locally famous "Chemas". As the young lady took my order I heard some dudes hollering in my direction. I turned around and see two guys saying what’s up. I wasn’t wearing my glasses at the time and I squinted and mad dogged them assuming it was just some hoodlums trying to start something. I show up to school on Monday and Isaac and Ed , starting talking crap as to why I didn’t say hi. I laughed and told them what I thought but they were sure I recognized them, but just didn’t like them. Moral of the story two things were true, yes two hoodlums were yelling at me and yes I didn’t like them. Nearly 15 years later, who knew that we would best friends."

"I’ve known Isaac for just over 13 years. My favorite memory with Isaac is when we received our bids from Kappa Sig in 2010. We were called into the Flag Room that night for what we thought would be an exciting beginning to our fraternal journeys. We were so scared that we Isaac’s voice was trembling as he was stating his name and we couldn’t even tell left from right. Anyhow, I’m so glad to be friends Isaac. Even moreso, I’m happy for his future with his beloved wife-to-be, Jessee. “A great marriage is not when the ‘perfect couple’ comes together. It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.” The takeaway from this quote for me is that Jessee has learned to enjoy Isaac’s imperfections and committed to a life of dealing with him! "The first time I met Isaac was during the yearly Chavez Easter gathering at the park. He was a young high school kid. I knew he played high school ball, so I struck up a conversation about tossing around the old pig skin. He made a good impression with me. Fast forward many years later, I’m now one of his Groomsman. I’ve come to know Isaac as being a genuinely kind, thoughtful, caring and funny guy who’s never shied away from having a good time, a beer or shot of tequila. I respect and value the love and care that he has shown towards my Cousin Jessee (Soon to be Mrs. Quintero) and my Family.
