We're getting married!

Stuart and Evan met through a mutual friend while living in Lubbock, Texas and attending Texas Tech University (Wreck'em). After hanging out a few times in a social setting, Evan invited Stuart to come over and made a bet on a friendly game of Trivial Pursuit "Disney Edition." Evan thought she had it in the bag, but Stuart ultimately won the game. Evan claims she let him win and its probably true since Stuart hasn't won any game that is Disney related since. After that, they went on their first official date on 3.13.14. Stuart took Evan to a Cajun restaurant for dinner and since then, they make it a tradition to have Cajun food each year on the anniversary of their first date.

Stuart and Evan try to take a road trip every year around spring break. This year, they went to Arizona to visit some family friends and site see some of the National Parks that Arizona has to offer. They made a day trip up to Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona to see the beautiful eroded Navajo Sandstones in the canyons. Stuart brought the ring with him because he thought it would be a beautiful place to propose. Only problem was it was very crowded and certain sections were very narrow. Something just did not feel right so Stuart held off. Their next stop was Horse Shoe Bend. After seeing Horse Shoe Bend and Stuart almost having a heart attack from Evan being so close to the edge, the couple figured it was time to go. Thats when Stuart dropped down to one knee.
