This is a fantastic museum to visit, full of American history, and has multiple additional attractions such as Greenfield Village. There is so much to do, it will take more than 1 day to see it all!
An ode to Pontiac motor cars, this is a wonderful place to see many well preserved Pontiac cars, along with the history and marketing of one of America's most storied brands. Rachelle's dad David worked at Pontiac, and now works here as a Docent.
A fantastic brewery with fantastic food that is limited quantities. A short drive from the incredible Detroit Riverwalk.
A 985 Acre state park, it has a ton of attractions including the Conservatory, the Aquarium, and Great Lakes Museum.
A wonderful walk right on the River, one of the only places that you can be north of Canada, while still in the US. Ethan proposed to Rachelle on the Riverwalk, and is a wonderful place to see some sights, including the Ambassador Bridge to Canada, the General Motors Renaissance Center, and some of the wonderful parks along the river.
A wonderful museum filled with excellent art pieces. Voted the best art museum in the US in 2023.
This happens to be one of our Favorite restaurants and is some of the best ramen we've had this side of the pacific! We both recommend the Tonkatsu Ramen, with an extra egg and extra meat!
A nicely atmospheric Brewery with some history and wonderful staff. The food is good, and the beer is tasty!
- CASH ONLY - A fantastic burger spot. Miller's bar has been running since 1941, and has a very simplistic menu, no crazy condiments or toppings here. You order a burger with or without cheese, what rarity you want it cooked, and whether or not you want a slice of onion (that comes on the side). Pickles, Ketchup, and Mustard are all on the side as well, and that is all of the necessary condiments for these burgers that stand out from the crowd. This place has a similar following and vibe as Matt's Bar, Ethan swears he dreamt about these burgers while living in California.
