We’ve arranged for special parking right out front, so you can show off your beautiful ride for all to admire. 😊*** A Little Backstory: As most of you know, cars have always been a huge part both of our lives, both personally and professionally. Rachelle has been a car girl from the start, thanks to herdad getting a 1968 Camaro when she was 2. She bought the first love of her life back in 2013, a 2013 Mustang GT, she was her pride and joy for 11 years. Now, Rachelle is behind the wheel of a 2014 Shelby GT500, and as Ethan likes to say, “We’re Shelby people now!” (For those who aren’t familiar, that’s a 662-horsepower supercharged 5.2L V8 Mustang—pure power and performance.) Ethan’s car story started similarly, starting with the first gen Honda Civic his dad had in the 90s, affectionately known as the “zippy car”, to the passion instilled in him by his mother and grandfarther regarding all sorts of different makes and models, to playing with Hot Wheels and building his own plastic model cars. His journey taking him from Minnesota to Michigan and beyond, working for one of the Big Three! Ethan and Rachelle have known each other since 2017, meeting via mutual friends and attending one of Rachelle’s friends’ concerts, but their first date wasn’t until December 2019. Rachelle knew from the start that she wanted to be with Ethan , and let it be known. He, on the other hand, wasn’t quite ready yet—but Rachelle wasn’t going anywhere, and patiently waited for Ethan to catch up. Both of us share a love and passion for cars. Rachelle always dreamed of taking her Mustang to the racetrack, and when her friend invited her to a track day on June 12th, 2020, she jumped at the chance. She asked Ethan, their friend Will, and her brother Nate to come along and watch her race for the first time. It was at that track day, seeing her tearing up the track, that Ethan realized he needed to make their relationship official. After the track, they went to dinner, and when she refused his offer to pay my bill, he looked at her and said, “What? Can’t I buy my GIRLFRIEND dinner?”. It doesn’t do the word justice to say that Rachelle was ecstatic! Flash forward to now, it only seems fitting that we would get married at a racetrack! 🏎️💍
