This event is an Assamese traditional gathering. The groom’s family visit the bridal premises and in a ceremonial gathering. Various pre- wedding rituals are performed. Pani-Tula, Daiyan -Diya, Nou -Puruxor Shraddha, Nuoni Or Ceremonial Bath are some of the other pre-wedding traditional Assamese rituals. To be followed by lunch.

Baraat - Groom’s Parade and Arrival Milna- Meet of both sides of the families Bhori Dhuwa- Welcome of the groom by washing his feet with milk Agni Pooja- Taking fire as a witness, bride and groom, partake in mantra saying,exchange vows, Kanyadaan by father- signifies bride’s introduction into a new family Gath Bandhan and Jai-Mala - Tying of ends of scarves of both bride and groom that signifies holy matrimony and togetherness and exchange of flower garlands. Lunch will be served.
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
A celebratory gathering to celebrate the union of two souls and the start of a new life together. Dinner will be served
