Sam and I met in 2016 while we were both living in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was stationed at one of the bases there and I had recently moved, wanting to get back to Florida after leaving it earlier that year. He asked me on a date the first day we met in October, which included dinner at El Paso (a little Mexican restaurant in town), the beach, and movies. I was never expecting it to turn into what it has, but I couldn’t be happier. We’ve been inseparable since the very beginning; and as inseparable as you can be while doing long distance! Sam got stationed in Okinawa, Japan May of 2017 and I moved to Orlando, Florida September of 2017. I went to visit him October of that same year and that’s when he popped the question, while we were exploring some cliffs on the oceanside. We’ll get to see each other one more time before our wedding; April/May of 2019. After our wedding that year in October and after three years of long distance, Sam will finally be home in the states May of 2020. We are both so looking forward to sharing our special day with you all and for all the future holds for us. We can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives by each other’s sides!
