The couple met in 2017 at summer school going into their senior year of high school. They hit it off immediately and Erin and Ryen were inseparable and graduated together as class of 2018! The couple went through some long distance relationships after the first year together till Ryen was able to move back to the Palm Desert area. They moved in with each other at the end of 2020, and have been living together ever since. On August 12th 2023 is when the couple made their relationship even stronger and got engaged.

On a normal visit to the couple’s favorite vacation spot, Ventura CA, they were hanging out with part of the wedding party, and long time friends like any other day. Ryen knew he couldn’t keep himself together anymore and wanted to propose to Erin. With the help of Brayden (best man) he went to take a “phone call” and walked up the path to quickly lay out rose pedals on the beach, while Kiera (bridesmaid) was asked to take photos of the couple and soon to follow recording their proposal. The group then continued their walk to the path that was just set up for them. With clammy hand and nervous thoughts from both, Ryen got on one knee and proposed. Of course Erin said Yes! And then laughed that she didn’t get her nails done. The couple then followed with lots of calls of excitement of their engagement and the next chapter of their book complete.
