We can't wait to celebrate together!

Ruhley and Erin met on their very first day at Dulaney High School in Mrs. Carlson's Biology class. Even though it took them a while to become "more than friends," they built a strong friendship over the 4 years. Ruhley asked Erin to prom very early in February of 2015, just to ensure that no one else could ask her. You'd think it'd be obvious to her, but it took Erin a while to realize that Ruhley actually liked her. Their friendship finally blossomed and they officially became high school sweethearts before graduating in 2015. Now, after 8 years of being together, they have a house, their dog, Achilles, and are excited to commit their lives to one another!

Ruhley and Erin finally got engaged in July 2022 surrounded by all of their family. Ruhley planned to have both parents over for dinner, but Erin quickly realized something was up when she walked into Ruhley's parents house and everyone was silent. She turned the corner and was so surprised to see her brother and best friends waiting for her. While Erin recovered from shock, she turned around to find Ruhley on one knee. He had prepared a long and loving speech with both of their families around them - to which Erin said yes! They celebrated with a small pool party and LOTS of pictures!
